Refinishing the reed plates
The valves on your Laelaps are completely detached for the reed plates’ thorough cleaning.
A replacement with a new set of valves takes place.
Reeds gap and intonation personalised adjustments will be carried out
to the standard of a new Laelaps harmonica.

Assembly and Tuning
After servicing and refinishing, the parts are reassembled.
The worn components such as screws will be replaced,
when necessary, and the second adjustment takes place.

Final Control
The maker ensures your Laelaps functions perfectly and
makes the final adjustments necessary for it
to meet Laelaps requirements on airtightness and playability.

Returning the Harmonica
At the end of the service procedure,
the maker will record a validation testing video of your harmonica and send it to you.
This is followed by a final cleaning and careful packing before sending the harmonica back to you.
