Artist's Words
“Laelaps 56 Stellar is a harmonica with a distinctive design that is also remarkably lightweight. I truly enjoy its tone quality, especially in the high register, where the sound is bright yet never sharp or piercing. Instead, it feels gentle and smooth, creating a warm and relaxing listening experience.
“The slider is exceptionally smooth, and the instrument responds quickly, making it much easier to perform faster passages.
“In addition, its airtightness is excellent, with no noticeable air leakage, allowing me to tackle more demanding repertoire with confidence. For example, when playing the final passage of Roumanian Fantasy, which requires a large and well-controlled airflow, this harmonica concentrates the air efficiently, enabling me to produce a full, rich, and perfectly rounded ending.”
