Wu Tsai Rung was born in Taipei City in 2008. In the late summer of 2014, she inadvertently encountered an old harmonica at her grandfather\u2019s house and began her relationship with the harmonica. When she was in the first grade of elementary school, under the enlightenment of Teacher Chang Chao Teng, Tsai Rung gradually fell in love with this small and exquisite \u201cpocket piano.\u201d<\/span><\/p>

With perseverance and passion, she has continued to shine on major stages, winning numerous first prizes in both solo and ensemble categories, including the Taiwan National Student Music Competition, the Taiwan Harmonica Music Competition (THMC), the Asia Pacific Harmonica Festival (APHF), and the Seoul International Harmonica Festival (SIHF).<\/span><\/p>

Tsai Rung has also been invited multiple times to perform as a soloist at the Closing First Prize Concerts of these competitions, as well as to appear as a featured guest at Gala concerts. In addition, she remains active in various musical performances, where her delicate tone and heartfelt interpretations never fail to leave a lasting impression.<\/span><\/p>

With every note, she is enchanted by the harmonica\u2019s graceful dance among the reeds, breathing life into melodies filled with joy and emotion. To her, the harmonica is more than an instrument\u2014it is a cherished companion through laughter and tears, and a diary that tenderly preserves the chapters of her journey.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

<\/b>At first glance, I was captivated by its golden finish\u2014elegant yet carrying a touch of boldness. The streamlined shape fits naturally in the hand, making it very comfortable to hold. A thoughtful detail is the positioning design on the cover plate, which is truly practical, allowing for more precise control when playing wide interval jumps. The angle of the mouthpiece is also well-adjusted; even with the thickness of the double-layered reed plates design, it doesn\u2019t affect the smoothness of octave playing at all.<\/span><\/em><\/p>

\u201cSound Expression
<\/b>Its sound left me deeply impressed. The warmth of the wooden comb perfectly balances the sharpness of the metal. High notes are clear and bright, low notes are rich and full, and every register delivers strong expressiveness. The tonal layers are distinct, making the sound genuinely captivating.<\/span><\/em><\/p>

\u201cAir Tightness
<\/b>The airtightness of this harmonica is very satisfying. When playing, there\u2019s almost no air leakage, breath is never wasted, and even with a gentle breath, it produces a full, powerful tone. This is especially noticeable when playing continuous arpeggios, where the smoothness and effortlessness are particularly striking.<\/span><\/em><\/p>

\u201cReed Resonance
<\/b>The double-layered reed plates design enhances resonance, making it fuller and more stable, while still keeping every note clear and well-defined without muddy. The melody is performed with a sparkling, enchanting quality, and when playing octaves or harmonies, its penetrating power is unexpectedly impres<\/span>sive.<\/span><\/em><\/p>
